Super Duplex 2507 Tubing

For over a decade, PAC Stainless has been the largest stock supplier of Super Duplex 2507 tubing to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. We are the only distributor that maintains an extensive inventory of this product line to provide customers with rapid supply of this dynamic steel composition.
Duplex stainless steel is comprised of austenite and ferrite in an approximate 50/50 split. Super Duplex 2507 is a highly alloyed, high performance advanced form of this material. It was developed in the 1980’s for applications where resistance to seawater corrosion was critical.


Super Duplex 2507 displays its superior performance in a number of aspects:
• Exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion
• High resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride bearing Environments
• Good sulfide stress corrosion resistance
• Greater resistance to hydrogen embrittlement
• Very high mechanical strength
• High energy absorption
• Low coefficient of thermal expansion
• Good workability and weldability
